All contractors on site use best practicable measures to control and reduce noise by ensuring the following:

• Scheduled deliveries

• A limit on working hours on site

• Use of and maintenance of the latest equipment, with silencers

• The installation of noise detectors in appropriate locations on site

• Noise attenuation such as hoardings, the utilisation of existing buildings and scaffolding screening

• No shouting on site, music or revving of engines

Throughout the process, maintaining a good relationship with neighbours is a priority.
