Phased demolition works

Ark Build PLC has made significant progress with the planned demolition works. The 20th century brick lift shaft has been removed, allowing access to the rear of the site for scaffolding and protection. Hand demolition work adjacent to Astor College has commenced.

It was decided to push back work on the partial demolition of the South House. This has been retained temporarily to provide greater protection from noise and dust to Middlesex House occupants, thus creating a better working environment for all.

Ark Build PLC would like to express its gratitude for your patience and understanding during the initial stages of the scheme.

We are all fully aware how construction projects can have an impact on the local community and are committed to ensuring that any impact on our neighbours is as minimal as possible both now and throughout the project.

The site manager is communicating with nearby businesses and adjacent buildings ahead of planned works to create awareness of any aspects that have the potential to cause disruption.

Ongoing traffic marshalling is carried out upon delivery of equipment and machinery to help minimise the impact on the surrounding area.

Please be aware that Ark have an open-door policy, so should you have any concerns or queries during the redevelopment, then please do not hesitate to contact us and we’ll get back to you. See contact us page.
